Celebrate the Lunar New Year at MGM National Harbor with a special Conservatory display, concert, cuisine deals and more.

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD — Residents can celebrate the Lunar New Year at MGM National Harbor with month-long holiday festivities, a Year of the Horse Conservatory display, culinary specialties and more.
“Our Lunar New Year Conservatory display brings the Year of the Horse to life through powerful symbolism, from the galloping bronze horses representing momentum and ambition, to the cascading gold coins and red lanterns that signify prosperity, luck, and renewal. Every detail was designed to immerse guests in a celebration of progress and possibility as we welcome the new year," Richard Chwang, director of international marketing at MGM National Harbor, told Patch.
The Conservatory's Lunar New Year display includes eight galloping horses stretching across 32 feet, a golden bamboo forest reaching 25 feet in height, a money tree adorned with oversized gold I-Ching coins and iglots, 8-foot-tall lanterns accented with firecrackers, koi fish and a jade rock fountain, and a 15-foot-tall illuminated red lantern.
