Youth Curfew Enacted After Baby Shot, Several Killed Labor Day Weekend In Prince George's
After a baby was shot along with several other people, Prince George's County officials have enacted a youth curfew for the next 30 days.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A youth curfew has been enacted in Prince George's County after a baby was shot Sunday afternoon. Four people were killed and several others injured Labor Day weekend.
The curfew takes effect this weekend and will last for 30 days, according to Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. According to officials, youth ages 17 and younger must be home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Different hours will be set for Friday and Saturday. Parents will receive warnings and could be fined if their youth are found out and about during the curfew.
A baby was shot at around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon inside an apartment in the 9900 block of Good Luck Road in Lanham. She was taken to a hospital where she remains in stable condition, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.

Saturday night, 15-year-old De'Andre Johnson of Washington, D.C., was shot and killed at a 7-Eleven in Capitol Heights. Other victims that included a 15-year-old boy and two men, one of whom was a store employee, were hospitalized, according to the Prince George's County Police Department.
A 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were shot outside a movie theater in Largo Saturday night. They were hospitalized. On Sunday morning, a woman was taken to the hospital after she was found in the 5300 block of Frazier Terrace with gunshot wounds. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Police arrested 78-year-old Booker Wilkins of Temple Hills and charged him with her murder, according to the police department.

On Sunday night, a Bladensburg man was shot and killed in the 4200 block of 58th Avenue. On Monday morning, a man was found fatally shot in a parking lot in Lewisdale.
