BHS Grad Playing in Women's College World Series
Kourtney Salvarola, a shortstop for the University of South Florida, is playing in a championship game today.
A (BHS) graduate and star softball player is up to bat right now in game one of the Women's College World Series, live on ESPN.
Kourtney Salvarola, a 2010 graduate from BHS, is batting for University of South Florida (USF) Bulls (50-12) against the University of Oklahoma City Sooners (50-8).

Salvarola beat a state record for homeruns in 2007, earning a .698 batting average and 41 runs, according to her career page. She also lettered in varsity softball all four years at BHS.
At USF, she was named to the All Big East First Team, and the 2010-11 USA Softball Junior Women's National Team.
