DESIGN TIPS FOR YOUR HALLWAY

Make The Door Stand Out:  Try painting the back of your front door, instead of keeping it the traditional white.  Go with a bold color that compliments the color theme of your home.

Create An Art Gallery:  Choose a focal point in the hallway, possibly at the bottom of your stairs or in the middle of your hallway, and put up an array of pictures....wall art together!  You can even add a few mirrors to make the area appear bigger and brighter.

Vertical Stripes:  Does the area seem small?  You can remedy the appearance of your small hallway by adding vertical stripes along the walls to give an illusion of a taller hallway.

Proper Lighting:  With the right type of lighting you can drastically transform your hallway from boring to glamorous!  By investing in the proper fixture, you can improve the overall mood and make a subtle but lasting impression on everyone walking down your hallway.
