Broadneck Singer Named 'Teen of the Week'

A performer who lit up the stage at the school's talent show this year was recognized recently by The Capital as the "Teen of the Week."

Recent BHS graduate Malcolm Jones was one of many performers at , but his performance was one of the more memorable ones.

During the show, Jones gave an emotional rendition of Luther Vandross' "Dance with My Father."

Jones was recently interviewed by The Capital as the "Teen of the Week." The article tracks his various achievements on stage and behind the microphone as a member of the school's choir, and as the singer of the national anthem for the Class of 2012 graduation ceremony.

Congratulations are due to Jones, who will be attending McDaniel College in Westminster in the fall, where he hopes to double major in business administration and economics.
