'Get Smart' Comes to Children's Theatre of Annapolis

Students from across the county will don the roles of Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 in The Children's Theatre of Annapolis (CTA) presentation of Get Smart, premiering in October.
Get Smart, a comedic spoof based off of the classic television spy series of the 1960's, will premiere on October 12 with repeat shows throughout the month.
The show is directed by Jose de la Mar, and centers on bungling secret agent Maxwell Smart, also known as Agent 86, played by Zachary Roth of Glen Burnie. His experienced female partner is Agent 99, played by Meghan Dickey of Arnold. Nick Brice of Annapolis takes on the role of Chief, the long-suffering head of the spy agency named CONTROL.

The show is based on the plot of the first episode in the TV series, created by comedian Mel Brooks and adopted by Christopher Sergel.
