Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. The show centers around a naive florist shop worker who creates and raises a plant that begins to feed on human blood. The music is based on the style of early 1960s doo-wop and early Motown.  Tickets are $11, $8 for students and seniors, and are available for pre-sale and shows are often sold out. Seats not reserved.
