Rita's Frozen Treats Reopens on March 2

will begin offering the frozen treats they're known for starting March 2, after a winter-season hiatus.

The Cape St. Claire location of Rita's is a popular hangout for local kids looking for a place to escape the heat. 

The store closes for the winter, but they probably could have done some good business throughout the mild temperatures this year so far.

The store's menu includes Italian ice, cream ice, gelati, Mistro shake (a combination of Italian ice and custard), frozen custard, Blendini (a combination of ice cream and custard with your favorite crunch topping), coffee flavored Ritacinno and the fat-free Slenderita.
