Free Tai Chi/Qigong Workshop
Learn the numerous benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong and enjoy refreshments and giveaways.

Often called “meditation in motion,” Tai Chi is a low-impact form of mind-body exercise. Participants in this free workshop will learn about the physical and mental health benefits of Tai Chi:
- Promotes joint health
- Improves flexibility and strength
- Improves balance and helps prevent falls
- Helps with arthritis, blood pressure and diabetes
- Helps with chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and Parkinson’s
- Increases bone density
- Improves breathing
- Improves sleep

The first part of the workshop will be a discussion about the health benefits of tai chi and then participants will have the opportunity to practice basic tai chi and qigong movements. The workshop is taught by Shifu Billy Greer, who has trained with top tai chi masters from around the world.
All levels of fitness are welcome. Wear clothing that is suitable for movement, such as a t-shirt and athletic pants.
