If you like to eat fresh food made from locally-grown ingredients and enjoy supporting the preservation of local history, make plans to attend the Goshen Farm Harvest Dinner, an evening of good food grown, prepared, and served by your neighbors, on Saturday, October 4, from 5 to 7 PM. Enjoy a hearty dinner of spaghetti with sauce made from the vegetables grown in the Goshen Farm Sharing Garden, and socialize with Society members who will share the history of the farm and the Society’s plans for its restoration. The dinner will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 461 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012. Goshen Farm is located in the Broadneck area of Annapolis, just off of Cape St. Claire Road near the entrance to the Cape St. Claire community. Tickets for the Harvest Dinner are $10 per adult and $5 for kids 10 and under. Admission includes the spaghetti dinner, salad, bread, side dishes, desserts, and soft drinks/beverages. Advance ticket purchase is recommended but tickets will also be available at the door. Goshen Farm merchandise will also be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the preservation and restoration of the farm. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.goshenfarm.org.
