
A team of five people will try to pull a truck with nothing but a rope and their bare hands at (AACC) on Wednesday. Donβt miss the chance to participate in the inaugural truck pull.
This is the first year AACC has hosted a truck pull competition. The event is sponsored by the collegeβs Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.
Teams of five will attempt to pull an empty delivery box truckβthe kind you rent to move your furniture withβacross a marked course in the collegeβs parking lot.

βThe event is planned as a fun way to highlight the collegeβs offerings and the need for workers in this growing field,β according to a release.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to participate in this event. Prizes will be given out for the top finishers.Β

The students who make it into first place will get bragging rights and a $300 tuition voucher toward a transportation course at AACC. Faculty members will get a trophy.Β
The truck pull will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Wednesday at the college campus, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, in Parking Lot C.
