AACC Jazz Band Performs Spring Concert Saturday

This weekend, 's Jazz Band and the Improvisational Music Committee (IMC) will entertain guests at their annual performance at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Pascal Center for the Performing Arts, on the Arnold campus.

The performance will open with IMC, under the direction of Ian Wardenski, with a variety of selections that will highlight each musician’s vocal and instrumental improvisational skills.

The Jazz Band will then take the stage, directed by Marty Knepp. Their show will present tunes including a Tommy Dorsey tribute, classic charts, a big-band rendition of a Queen classic and a hit from a recent Grammy Award winner, Gordon Goodwin.

Tickets are $10 for general admission, $7 for senior citizens, groups, students and AACC employees, or $5 with valid AACC student ID.
