Maryland Department of Agriculture Honors Employees for Years of Service

Dedicated employees recently received recognition for their years of service to the (MDA).

The MDA honored 41 employees from all over the state on Sept. 20, according to a media release.

Local MDA employees honored include:

• S. Patrick McMillan (Marketing, Animal Industries and Consumer Services), Arnold—25 years
• Pamela Randall (Turf and Seed), Arnold—25 years
• Joanna Kille (Executive Direction), Arnold—10 years

“MDA and the agriculture community are fortunate to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable corps of employees working to strengthen the State of Maryland and this agency each and every day,” said Agriculture Secretary Buddy Hance in a release.

Other MDA employees recognized in Anne Arundel County include: 

• Bettie McCaffrey (Marketing, Animal Industries and Consumer Services), Glen Burnie—40 years
• Judith Plymyer (Attorney General’s Office), Millersville—30 years
• George Williams Jr. (Central Services), Annapolis—30 years
• Regina Dorsey (Animal Health), Annapolis—25 years
• Wilfredo Marte (Fiscal Services), Annapolis—25 years
• Diane Chasse (MD Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation), Annapolis—15 years
• Mark Anderson (Resource Conservation), Severna Park—10 years
• Mark Smith (Plant Protection and Weed Management), Annapolis—10 years
