Updated: Ten Broadneck-Area Teachers Among Top 50 in County

The educators will be honored at the Excellence in Education banquet in April.

One-fifth of the 50 best educators in the county are made up of Broadneck-area school teachers.

The Anne Arundel County Public School System announced the list of top teachers on Friday. The teachers will gather in April to be honored at the 26th annual Excellence in Education banquet in Linthicum, hosted by the school system and the Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.

“I look forward to this process every year because it gives us all a chance to celebrate the great teaching that goes on throughout our school system,” Superintendent Kevin Maxwell said. “Every day in our classrooms, our teachers are creating brighter futures not just for our children, but for all of us. It is thrilling to be able to spotlight that in this way.”
