Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Partiers gathered at and Cantina on Saturday to celebrate the Mexican holiday and also donate funds toward a good cause. The Cinco de Mayo festivities at the Grill were host to a variety of fundraisers. A silent auction was going on throughout the day for special items. The party wasn't isolated to the tent either. The Cinco de Mayo festivities were spread all around the restaurant.
