Most poll respondents said they didn't want an International Baccalaureate (IB) school in Broadneck, but the results were tight.
Over the past week, Patch users left more than 100 comments on the subject of IB, following at three elementary schools in the county.
IB programs are currently available in Anne Arundel County at three high schools and three middle schools. The IB Primary Years Programme just launched at the start of the school year at three elementary schools. None of the schools are in Broadneck, but there is talk of expanding the IB elementary portion of the program to more schools in the future.
