POLL: Should E-Books Replace Textbooks in the Classroom?

Apple launched a new initiative this week pushing for more e-books at schools.

The company hopes to partner with leading textbook publishers and sell equivalent textbook apps for iPad owners at a price point of $14.99 instead of the usual fee of up to four times that amount.

The dream is that this will revolutionize the way students interact with their material, putting an end to the days of carrying up to six books to and from the lockers each day.

But are schools ready to make that leap?
