Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Its mission is to create opportunities that allow individuals to enjoy life, explore nature, and restore their health and well-being. Customers and fans of  showed their support this week for Patch's , choosing it as the best place to get kids' haircuts in Broadneck and Arnold. TNT's owner Clint Peterson thanked his customers for giving their love to his business. "It's pretty awesome that people think that highly of me," Peterson said. "I have a great staff. I have great customers. And I appreciate that people think that much of my salon and barber shop." As for what Peterson thinks sets TNT apart from the rest, he said he has high standards for quality. "I definitely have high expectations for our customers," he said. "I like them and all my staff to be taken care of." Stay tuned early next week for the chance to vote on the best sandwich shop in Broadneck.
