Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Its mission is to create opportunities that allow individuals to enjoy life, explore nature, and restore their health and well-being. Three talent shows are scheduled this week for students to show off their skills. Tickets and proceeds for the show are used to help raise funds for the prom. This year's show should be , if not more. Starting Thursday at 7 p.m., the talent show will kick off featuring performances from student musicians and more. <ul> <li>7 p.m. Thursday—Talent Show</li> <li>7 p.m. Friday—Improv Night</li> <li>7 p.m. Saturday—Talent Show</li> </ul> The shows will be in the school auditorium. Broadneck High School is located at 1265 Green Holly Dr. in Annapolis. Patch will have photos of the event posted in a gallery shortly after the show. I'd also like to see any other photos our readers may take during the show, and I'll make sure there's a chance to show those off as well.
