• 4 Marylanders Charged In Multi-State Retail Theft Ring (patch.com) — Several Capitol Heights residents are among those charged in a multi-state organized retail theft ring that authorities say targeted stores in Prince George's County and beyond. Federal and state indictments allege more than $48,000 in goods were stolen and resold online between October 2025 and April 2026. If convicted, some defendants face up to five years in federal prison.
