100K Laptops Receive Repairs For Fall Use From BCPS Tech Students

The Baltimore County Public Schools students earned a certification for fixing the computers to ensure they're ready for the fall.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Almost two dozen high schoolers with Baltimore County Public Schools have been busy this summer repairing the very Chromebooks they and fellow students will be using to learn from home this fall.

Approximately 100,000 laptops were evaluated for repairs.

"If it's broken, we will see if it needs to change with the power board and the motherboard. We'll see what's the main cause of the computer, we will then repair it and fix it and we will also triage it to make sure everything is OK," Tatiyana Terrelonge, a Milford Mill Academy student, told WBAL-TV.
