Charlestown Names Laura Rye as Associate Executive Director

Charlestown, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living in Catonsville, MD, has named Laura Rye as its associate executive director. In this key leadership role, Laura will oversee daily operations for the scenic 110-acre campus, the 2,045 residents who call it home, and the 1,000 team members who support them.

Rye began her career with Erickson Senior Living in 2024 as associate executive director at Riderwood in Silver Spring, Md.. During her tenure there, she established strong collaborative relationships throughout the community and empowered team members to deliver exceptional service to residents.

Prior to joining Erickson, Laura held roles at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Health System. She holds a bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary studies, English & Education, from Villa Julie College, and a master's degree in Innovation from Northeastern University.
