BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An employee of a local smoke shop in the county sold multiple firearms and a selection of drugs to an undercover agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Katherine Rottman, a spokesperson for the Baltimore field division, confirmed to Patch that the exchanges happened over five instances with a man who worked at the King of Smoke.
The shop is located at 5305 East Drive in the Arbutus-Halethorpe area.
The sales, according to Rottman, occurred during a long-term, controlled investigation. She did not say whether the probe specifically targeted the employee or the business.
The man, who was not identified, is facing felony charges for selling 10 firearms, including three machine guns, fentanyl pills, meth and cocaine inside the smoke shop.
He has been charged with intent to distribute and possession of a machine gun.
No further details of the case were provided.
