Halethorpe Man Sentenced For Sexually Exploiting Girls, Coercing Them To Self-Harm

A 21-year-old Halethorpe man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for cyberstalking and sexually exploiting several young girls.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Erik Lee Madison, a 21-year-old Halethorpe man, was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for cyberstalking and sexually exploiting multiple young girls.

Madison, who is linked to the "764" criminal organization, will also be required to pay $3,000 in restitution.

The "764" group is described by authorities as a "nihilistic violent extremist group" that uses social media platforms to "support the possession, production, and sharing of extreme gore media and child sex abuse material with vulnerable, juvenile populations."

A release issued by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland states that Madison sexually exploited at least 10 young girls inside and outside of the U.S. between November 2024 and November 2025.

Girls were encouraged to self-harm, cut signs and words on their bodies, write on walls with their blood, injure animals, and stream sexually explicit content. The girls were also extorted by Madison through threats against their families or of footage being publicly leaked.

“Mr. Madison is a child predator who committed heinous acts. As a result, he is going to jail for a long time,” said Kelly Hayes, who serves as the U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland.

"This sentence sends a clear message to Madison, and others who abuse and terrorize the most vulnerable members of our community: we will find you, prosecute you, and bring you to justice."

The case was carried out as part of the nationwide Project Safe Childhood initiative, which was launched in May 2006 to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
