5 People Displaced After Lansdowne House Fire Breaks Out

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Several people were displaced over the weekend after a fire broke out at a home in Lansdowne.

The Baltimore County Fire Department said the house fire was reported on the 600 block of 5th Avenue on Sunday afternoon, with flames extinguished just after 4 p.m.

An investigation at the site determined the fire broke out on the second floor of a rowhome.

No injuries were reported at the scene.

Five individuals were displaced from the home due to the extent of the damage and are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

Authorities have not said what caused the fire to break out. An investigation remains ongoing.
