Here are the top stories today in Catonsville:
- Another "call-out" by County school bus drivers may be happening this week, potentially affecting Baltimore County Public Schools families. Drivers will reportedly call out sick again to protest wages and other issues of concern to them. Dozens of bus routes were impacted across Baltimore County with last week's call-out, prompting school officials to offer a $250 signing bonus, among other incentives. (Catonsville Patch)
- The Baltimore County Arts Guild will be hosting the last Makers Market of the season this Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Catonsville Clubhouse (10 St. Timothy's Lane). - Delegate Maggie McIntosh, the first openly gay member of the Maryland General Assembly who has represented Baltimore since 1992, has announced that she will retire at the end of 2022. McIntosh, a former adjunct professor at Catonsville Community College, has been praised for her commitment to Baltimore-area residents and has been described as "a stateswoman who stands up for our children and those who have been left behind."
