President Trump's Executive Order that shut down government-funded Voice of America resulted in the firing of 1,300 journalists who reported actual news.
His action is straight out of the authoritarian playbok: control the narrative and replace facts with propaganda by supportive media that he alone sanctions.
This is another nail in democracy's coffin.
