How did you decide to live in Catonsville: I lived in Relay, until the state of Maryland put Route 95 in my back yard. Catonsville was my favorite choice.

What you like about being in Catonsville: It is a great friendly community.

Any formal art education: After high school, I joined the Navy. I graduated from Maryland Institute, College of Art in 1957.

Medium you currently use to create art: Water color.

How, who or what inuenced you to become an artist: Being an artist was always my goal.

The biggest influence in your artwork: My mother and my wife Bonnie.

What motivates you to continue creating artwork: It is one of my greatest joys in life.

Favorite artist that inuenced you: John Singer Sargent and Winslow Homer.

Where has your art been shown: In a few shows, mostly in Maryland.

The next thing you're working on: I always have five or six watercolors going at any certain time in my studio.
