  1. In the latest effort to support land preservation, County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced the County will permanently preserve a 23-acre farm in the Piney Run Rural Legacy Area in northwest Baltimore County. This marks the first easement funded through the County's Rural Legacy program since 2015. By protecting the land, the County will help preserve the water quality of Piney Run and the view from Mt. Zion Road, a Baltimore County Scenic Route. (Baltimore County Government)
  2. A Catonsville-based artist was featured in Chesapeake Bay Magazine's "At Home by the Bay" gift roundup. Artist Jennie Berry creates tiny works of art from oyster shells under the studio name SVN SMR.   3. There's nothing like freshly-baked bread to warm the body and the soul! This afternoon, the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum is holding a "no-knead" bread workshop, in which participants can bake in a colonial-style Earth oven.
