Baltimore Man Charged In Catonsville Shooting Death: Police
Two men were arguing shortly before 12:30 a.m. Aug. 18 when one shot and killed the other, police say.
CATONSVILLE, MD — A 24-year-old Baltimore man has been charged in the Catonsville shooting death of Charles Anthony Green, Jr. Baltimore County police officers determined that Jaekwan Jacob Stephens of the 1300 block of South Carey Street had argued with Green inside an apartment in the 200 block of Garden Ridge Road shortly before 12:30 a.m. Aug. 18.
Other people were present at the time, so the two men stepped outside to finish their argument, which is when police say Stephens shot and killed Green. According to the Baltimore County Police Department, Stephens has been charged with first degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony/violent crime. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bail status pending a bail review hearing.
