Blog: County Executive Kamenetz Announces Free Parking for Holidays

Baltimore County has a holiday gift for shoppers: two hours of free meter parking Thanksgiving weekend, November 25-27, and the week before Christmas, December 18-24. 

"We are teaming up with the County Revenue Authority to make local shopping easy with free meter parking during the holiday season," said Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz.  "We encourage everyone to support the hundreds of small locally owned shops and restaurants throughout Baltimore County."

Small, locally-owned shops offer unique merchandise and personal service. Many are located just minutes from residential neighborhoods, so shoppers save travel time and gasoline.
