Who will be the next boss on The Office?

Hey everyone!

So there are only three episodes left in this season of The Office and I know we're all going to miss Michael Scott. I had even contemplated not watching after this season and I know many of my Office-watching friends agreed with me. We figured they may as well just cancel the show! But then I realized... I'm not ONLY attached to Michael. I love Jim and Pam and Andy and even Dwight. So I've become attached to all of the characters. Therefore...I must stay loyal. At least try it out.

Yes, Michael does make this show, but what's to say a new boss won't be just as good? I know, I know it's unlikely...but I'm willing to give it a shot. I've enjoyed Will Ferrell so far...however he is definitely not good enough on this show to be the boss for good. The candidates for next boss include Ray Romano, Jim Carey, Will Arnet, Ricky Gervais, and James Spader.

Now, I've given this some thought. NOT Ray Romano... He's too 'family funny.' Think about it: he's the voice of that mammoth in Ice Age and the show "Everybody Loves Raymond", he's very funny, but just isn't fit for a show like The Office. The Office is full of SNL-type straight men/women. Ray Romano is a little too... wholesome, for me. Jim Carey, Ricky Gervais, or Will Arnett would be fantastic! They all are the right kind of funny, and Ricky Gervais originated this role in the UK version! I don't even know who James Spader is (gasp) so my opinion on him is pending. I'm voting for one of those three. Who do you guys want?
