Brother Charged in Wilkens Parking Lot Stabbing: Police

There was a nonfatal stabbing outside the Wilkens Avenue Giant Saturday night, Baltimore County police report.

A Glen Burnie man has been charged with assault and attempted murder in connection with the stabbing of his brother Saturday night outside the Wilkens Giant, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Scott Christopher Wink, 38, is being held without bail, police reported Monday morning.

Authorities said Wink was arguing with his younger brother in the parking lot of the Giant in the 4600 block of Wilkens Avenue when he stabbed him multiple times at approximately 9:10 p.m. Saturday, according to the report.

The 35-year-old victim had multiple stab wounds to the mid body and was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was unknown, police said Monday.

Wink has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault, according to police.

Police said the brothers lived together in the 400 block of Starwood Drive in Glen Burnie.
