Camper Rescued From Patapsco Valley State Park
A medevac was required to get a camper out of Patapsco State Park.

BALTIMROE COUNTY, MD - A teen who became sick during an outdoor youth program at Patapsco Valley State Park was rescued by a medevac, Maryland State Police reported.
The medevac was called after first responders on the ground faced challenges getting the 16-year-old girl out of the woods.
Authorities lowered a rescue basket 140 feet and were able to extract her.

Once Baltimore County fire and rescue personnel put her into the basket, police said the teen was hoisted up and transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Her condition was reportedly unknown.
