  1. The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce held its 2021 holiday party last night at State Fare on Frederick Road. Seventy-five Chamber members and their guests were in attendance for the evening's festivities, which were sponsored by The Soul & Krab House, Erie Insurance Agency / Upper Chesapeake Insurance, Truist, Brightview Senior Living, and The Skirven Team of Re/max Solutions. "We can't wait for all that's to come in 2022!" said the Chamber. (Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)
  2. Do you leave your car running in your driveway to "warm up" before you head out on a cold winter morning? If so, you may want to take some steps to guard against "warm-up theft," a preventable crime of opportunity that spikes when the temperature drops. An estimated 45 to 50 percent of car thefts in Baltimore County are the result of warm-up thefts during the fall and winter months. The Baltimore County Police Department reminds local residents to keep their vehicle doors are locked at all times, ensure spare keys are not left in the vehicle, and that their vehicle is not left running unattended.
