Catonsville Church Burglary Suspect Arrested By Police

A 57-year-old man has been charted with second degree burglary, theft and destruction of property. ​He has no known address.

CATONSVILLE, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department has arrested and charged Arthur Adams, 57, in relation to the June 9 burglary of a church located in the 900 block of Frederick Road. Adams has no known address. He has been charged with second degree burglary, theft and destruction of property.

According to the police department, the church was closed to the public at the time of the incident. Police believe the man entered the church through an unlocked window at approximately 2:30 a.m. Once inside, the man broke into the pastor's office and stole several items. Surveillance video showed the man, later identified as Adams, peering through the windows of the church.
