1. Gas prices in Maryland are falling, with the average Maryland gas price at $3.38 per gallon and the average Baltimore gas at $3.34 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com has reported a few stations with gas below $3, including a Sunoco in Catonsville that is selling gas for $2.99 per gallon. (CBS Baltimore)
2. The Catonsville High School basketball team played their first game of the season last night, Dec. 5, against Sparrows Point. Jason Harris, a former Catonsville player, made his varsity head coaching debut at the game. Coach Harris said, "My goal this season is to continue working toward a positive and winning culture. 3. Meadow Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Catonsville will partner with the University of Maryland's School of Social Work and Gilchrist in a National Institutes of Health (NIH) program. The program will study palliative care interventions for long-term care residents with dementia.
