  1. Gas prices in Maryland are falling, with the average Maryland gas price at $3.38 per gallon and the average Baltimore gas at $3.34 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com has reported a few stations with gas below $3, including a Sunoco in Catonsville that is selling gas for $2.99 per gallon. (CBS Baltimore)
  2. The Catonsville High School basketball team played their first game of the season last night, Dec. 5, against Sparrows Point. Jason Harris, a former Catonsville player, made his varsity head coaching debut at the game. Coach Harris said, "My goal this season is to continue working toward a positive and winning culture.   3. Meadow Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Catonsville will partner with the University of Maryland's School of Social Work and Gilchrist in a National Institutes of Health (NIH) program. The program will study palliative care interventions for long-term care residents with dementia. Nikki Gachot, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Meadow Park, said, "Meadow Park is honored to work with Gilchrist and UMD leaders in their respective fields to continue to improve support for those dealing with a diagnosis of dementia."
