Charlestown Wins NAHB Design Award
Remodel of Charlestown Square Sets Standard of Excellence

CATONSVILLE, MD -- Charlestown retirement community has won an award for the remodel of its Charlestown Square from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The NAHB honors projects that exemplify innovative design, lifestyle programming, and creative marketing that address the interests and needs of seniors. Architect for the project is Marks, Thomas Architects. Developer/Builder is Harkins Builders.
Charlestown Square has a restaurant (seen in photo), office suites, fitness and aquatics centers, a convenience store, a beauty salon, classrooms, a technology lab, a central lobby, a billiards area, and an art gallery.

Charlestown Square faces the entrance to Charlestown’s 110-acre campus and is near the historic Our Lady of the Angels Chapel.
Charlestown, which has more than 2,000 residents, is managed by Erickson Living.
