1. The Children's Home in Catonsville is asking the community to help them make this season brighter for children who are spending the holidays away from their homes and families. The 2021 Holiday Gift Drive, which kicks off on Dec. 4, will provide gifts and activities for the many kids who rely upon The Children's Home for safety and care. Residents' wish lists are posted on the Home's website and can be delivered in person during one of the designated drop-off days or purchased online via its gift registries for direct shipping to the Home. Whether you're a long-time Chamber member or a brand-new one, you're invited to join the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce's "Chamber 101" events, a soon-to-launch series of events to help members utilize all the benefits of membership. The first event will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m. in the Chamber conference room (757 Frederick Road Suite 102). Attendees will learn about the many perks of belonging to the Chamber and enjoy hors d'oeuvres courtesy of Farmhouse Greens and the Burger & Sausage Co. (Catonsville Chamber of Commerce)

The Baltimore County Police Department is hosting a hiring event on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Randallstown Community Center (3505 Resource Road in Randallstown, MD).
