- Catonsville Rails to Trails is asking the community to help them raise the last $1,000 they need to complete the boardwalk trail they are building behind Catonsville Elementary. When complete, the trail will connect the existing Mellor Avenue Trail to Bloomingdale Avenue. While CRTT received a grant from the Maryland Heritage Area Authority, France Merrick Foundation and the Middendorf Foundation for this project, the amount was insufficient due to the rising cost of lumber.
