Confirmed Coronavirus Case Total In Baltimore County At 12,401

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Tuesday, Baltimore County has a total of 12,401 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Baltimore County Health Department, and 529 deaths. The state has 91,854 confirmed cases and 3,396 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 12,888 people have been hospitalized.

The number of confirmed cases in Baltimore County nursing homes stands at 1,958. The number of death cases in Baltimore County nursing homes is at 278.

• 21222 with 912 cases

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If this is not available, use hand sanitizer that is at least 60 percent alcohol.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
• Keep 6 feet of space between people.
• Stay home when you are sick.
