Confirmed Coronavirus Case Total In Baltimore County At 37,799

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — As of Monday, Baltimore County has a total of 37,799 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Baltimore County Health Department, and 880 deaths. The state has 269,183 confirmed cases and 5,573 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health. More than 26,078 people have been hospitalized to date.

The number of confirmed cases in Baltimore County nursing homes stands at 4,567. The number of death cases in Baltimore County nursing homes is at 502.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Baltimore County as of Dec. 28:

• 21222 with 2,853 cases
• 21234 with 2,767 cases
• 21228 with 2,449 cases
• 21117 with 2,349 cases
• 21221 with 2,234 cases

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:

• Stay home when you are sick.
