Today (Jan. 18) you can check out the Narcan Training workshop at noon and an Anti-Racism Book Discussion at 7 p.m. Later in the week, the Library is hosting a discussion on understanding human trafficking, a tabletop role-playing game session, and a workshop for job seekers on preparing an elevator pitch. 3. If your Catonsville home is located near a stream, it may be time to consider requesting or organizing a community clean-up effort: A new study of Baltimore County home prices found that restoring trash-filled and eroded streams can significantly raise property values. According to research by the University of Connecticut, local homes within 1,000 feet of a restored stream saw an average resale value increase of 15 percent. (UConn Today)

Doing a "Dry January" or just looking for a flavorful alternative to regular cocktails? Here's a suggestion: try a non-alcoholic drink from our partners at Betera. Created by an award-winning chef from natural botanicals, Betera’s drinks come in 3 flavors — Ginger-Orange, Elderflower-Lime and Rhubarb-Hibiscus. We tried Ginger-Orange, and it was excellent — lightly effervescent, floral with a hint of bitterness and the sippability of a cocktail.
