Acoustic Music Night

Old friends and long time musical collaborators, Abby Bardi, Bob Pyle and Tony McGuffin will join forces on Friday, June 24th, at El Nayar Mexican Restaurant for a show of acoustic music featuring well-crafted, funny, insightful, original songs, old-timey Americana , and authentic, mostly-American folk music.

Music starts at 8:30. BYOB.

More about the performers:

Abby Bardi, one of BAWASOGU’s founding members, is a brilliant songwriter, performer, novelist (her “Book of Fred” is in its 7th printing by Simon & Schuster’s Washington Square Press) and an English Professor.

Bob Pyle was the founder of the original Baltimore Songwriters’ Association, a founding member of BAWASOGU (Baltimore-Washington Songwriters’ Guild), is now an animal rights activist, a world traveling documentary filmmaker, and for many years has been one of Baltimore’s most admired banjo players.

Tony McGuffin, another BAWASOGU founding member and former Artistic Director and Producer of the Ellicott Theatre, is one of the few truly traditional folk-singers around, delivering straight forward folk songs as well as a few originals.
