A panel discussion featuring UMBC assistant professor of American studies Kimberly Moffitt, who is a co-editor of the new book The Obama Effect. Moffitt will be joined by her co editors, Heather Harris of Stevenson University and Catherine Squires of the University of Minnesota as they discuss Obama's presidential candidacy and place it within the context of the American experience with race and the media.
