Music from Star Wars, Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, Cowboys, Harry Potter, Superman and more will be performed by the Community College of Baltimore County’s Baltimore Symphonic Band 7:30 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Columbus Gardens, 4301 Klosterman Avenue, Nottingham, Md. Join us for this musical salute to the music of prolific American composer, conductor and pianist John Williams. Although there is no set fee for this concert, the sponsor, the Greater Perry Hall Community Alliance, requests a donation at the door.
Maestro Christopher Wolfe, who has been the music director of the Baltimore Symphonic Band since its founding in 1981, conducts the all-volunteer community band of 57 musicians from throughout the Maryland area in this festive spring concert.
