Catonsville’s Heritage Players Strike a Comic Chord with Their Production of Lend Me a Tenor
Heritage Players, Inc. presents Ken Ludwig’s hilarious farce, Lend Me a Tenor, opening March 16th at Rice Auditorium in Catonsville. This intelligent comedy would have been a perfect vehicle for the Marx Brothers and director Damien Gibbons has brought together a cast just as nimble.
Set during the 1930s in a magnificent Cleveland hotel suite, Lend Me a Tenor depicts the tale of a megastar tenor from Italy who arrives for his debut performance in the leading role of "Otello" with the local opera company. What ensues is a masterpiece of slapstick comedy that will keep audiences laughing all night long.
