Shodekeh has been executing the fine art of beatboxing since the age of nine and has been presenting the vocal form as a serious practitioner since the age of 19.
He can vocally emulate many musical and everyday sounds. His creative and complex rhythmic mouth percussion has served to accompany dance programs at CCBC, Patapsco High School Center for the Arts, and the American Dance Festival at Duke University.
To explore the vast realm of human vocal possibilities, he is joined in this concert by throat singer Ian Telsford and operatic soprano Bonnie Lander.
