Based on a book and a 1967 movie, Thoroughly Modern Millie is about a small town girl who moves to The Big Apple, NYC, in hopes of marrying a rich man. It is set in 1922 when women were just entering the workforce and this practice was common. As she begins to live "the good life" she meets a leader fo a clavery ring in China and all her plans change!
