Here are the top stories today in Catonsville:

  1. A fatal car crash in Washington County, Maryland ended a four-day manhunt for former Baltimore County Officer Robert Vicosa and his alleged criminal accomplice in the kidnapping of Vicosa's two young daughters. The accomplice, Tia Bynum, was a current Baltimore County police officer and had been on the run with Vicosa after kidnapping the children from his estranged wife in Pennsylvania. All four of them were found dead in a crashed vehicle by police in Smithburg. Vicosa had served as a sergeant in the Catonsville precinct as recently as 2019, but a series of administrative charges resulted in his demotion and firing this year, according to police records.
